We shared previously that we invest in our technicians’ ongoing training, much of which is on safety. This includes general education, weekly videos, and regular testing to ensure the proper protocols become a daily practice. As you can imagine, this training includes aspects such as how to handle a ladder. Perhaps less obvious, it also addresses how to safely drive a truck. We won’t bore you with all the types of training. Suffice it to say, we account for safety in all areas we’ve determined require it, which is an investment of resources that is passed on to you, the DAPrDAN customer. (Note: While most other companies do not adhere to this rule, OSHA federal laws state that all employees must receive weekly safety training and sign-off to verify their participation. Failure to do so can result in the revocation of a contractor’s license.)

DAPrDAN Protects Your Property

Given our history in the insurance industry, you won’t be surprised to know that DAPrDAN is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. In the unlikely event that we damage your property, our policies will cover the repair or replacement cost. Having physical liability coverage goes into the DAPrDAN price. When considering hiring an exterior cleaning service because of their lower cost, ask them if they are fully licensed, bonded, and insured. But don’t stop there. As a result of our relationship with The Seal, anytime a DAPrDAN employee stands at the front door of your home and introduces themselves, you can hold your phone up to scan their name badge that displays a headshot photo and a QR code. We are bonded as a general contractor, which is not always required for our work. However, it does offer additional protection above stated minimal requirements (however, we’re not concerned with merely meeting the bare minimums). Additionally, we carry commercial general liability insurance and vehicle liability insurance. A few years ago, we had to let a technician go because he received a speeding ticket, and the insurance company informed us we could no longer remain insured if he were permitted to continue to drive our trucks.
